Out of State Patients

What to expect

Thank you for trusting Club Image! We are excited to have you, here is some general information as to what to expect when you are coming from out of state. Things to note- you will need to have no nail polish, gel, or nails of any kind. If this is difficult for you keep at least one of the middle three fingers on the right hand free. If you have eyelash extensions it is advised to not get them filled right before your appointment. It is best to schedule this after your surgery. If you have not sent in photos and income verification please contact us immediately.

Day 1-will be the Consultation and pre-op appointment. What to expect at your consultation…we will go over a brief health history including past surgeries you’ve had, any allergies to medications, and any medications you take on a daily basis. We will then take some measurements and have you try on implants so you can look in the mirror and see what size implants you like with your body shape. The Pre-Op Appointment: At this appointment, we will tell you what to expect on the day of surgery. We will take your blood pressure and oxygen levels and confirm your implant size. We will take before photos (your face is not in the picture) You will get two prescriptions, one for Bactrim (an antibiotic) and one for Valium. You will need to fill those out as soon as possible upon leaving the office. The next time we will see you is on surgery day.

Day 2-will be your Surgery Day: On your surgery day, we would like for you to wear yoga pants or leggings with no metal on them. A zip-up or button-up top usually works best, and shoes that are easy to get on and off. Make sure you have not eaten since midnight the night before (no gum, candy, or mints) and take the medications you were instructed to take at the time you were instructed to take them with a small sip of water. On surgery day you will come in and have your surgery which will take 1-4 hours depending on which procedure you are having. You will need to have someone 18 years or older for us to release you to. You will be cold and still groggy with blurry vision when we release you. You will go to the hotel or wherever you are staying and take a two-hour nap. After that nap Dr. Moore wants you to shower, do your hair and makeup, and get out of the hotel. This two-hour nap is the only downtime you need. Keep in mind as you plan work or other activities you may not lift, push or push more than 10 pounds for 3 weeks. Also no baths, pools, or submerging under water during this time.

Day 3-One day follow-up: We will have a look at your incision and give you care information for the next three weeks. You will have a three-week follow-up, three-month, one-year, five-year, and ten-year follow-up. These may be done with photos and phone calls if you are unable to come in person. You are also welcome to make an appointment at any time for any reason if you have concerns or questions. Typically follow-up appointments are done by our patient care coordinators. We are happy to book this with Dr. Moore if you want to see him at your follow-up appointment just let us know in advance as his schedule is harder to get into.

We are excited to be a part of this exciting time for you. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We want you to be as comfortable as possible. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call or text us at 801-250-7077.
